1. Introduction

Welcome to Pilo, an application developed and provided by Norilab ("We," "Us," "Our"), located at 4F #116, 147, Yanghwa-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul, Korea, 03995.
These Terms of Use govern your use of our service. By creating an account or using Pilo, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Description of Service

Pilo is a software service provided by Norilab. It is designed to facilitate the creation and sharing of animations by users. The Service allows users to design characters, develop animations, and share these content within the user community.

Our Service includes certain features and functionalities, and in-app purchases are offered to enhance these features. These purchases are handled and processed through the application platform.

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue the Service, or any feature or functionality thereof, at any time without notice. Any new features added to the Service will also be subject to these Terms of Use.

Please note that Pilo's use and storage of any data provided by you will be in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our Service, you agree to these Terms of Use and the handling of your data as outlined in our Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the Service following changes to these Terms of Use constitutes your agreement to those changes. If you do not agree to the changes, you should discontinue using the Service.

3. Eligibility

Our service is available to anyone who chooses to abide by these Terms of Use.

4. User Accounts

To use Pilo, users are required to create an account with a valid email and username. Users also have the option to provide age and country information, which will be used only for internal and research purposes and will not be made public. Upon receipt of a deletion request, we will maintain the user's information for a period of 30 days during which users can cancel the termination request. If not cancelled within this period, the user's information will then be permanently deleted from our systems.

* Each user account is limited to access the service from a maximum of five (5) devices simultaneously. Sharing of account credentials, including usernames and passwords, with multiple users or using the same account on more than five devices is strictly prohibited.

* Furthermore, the use of Animation Kit in volume, such as in school environments, is subject to compliance with our terms and conditions for educational institutions. Educational institutions are required to obtain a separate subscription and user accounts for each individual user, and account sharing among students is not permitted.

5. User Responsibilities

As a user of Pilo, you are expected to use our services responsibly and in compliance with these Terms, applicable laws, and the general conduct deemed acceptable by us. You must refrain from activities including but not limited to:

* Violating any copyright, trademark, patent, or any other proprietary right of another person or entity.
* Conducting activities that are unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, deceptive, fraudulent, invasive of another's privacy, tortious, obscene, offensive, or vulgar.
* Promoting discrimination, bigotry, racism, hatred, harassment, or harm against any individual or group.
* Participating in unauthorized or unsolicited advertising or any form of spam.
* Disclosing another person's personal information or any information that could be used to track, contact, or impersonate that individual.
* Engaging in commercial activities such as contests, sweepstakes, or any other form of solicitation without our express permission.
* Impersonating any person or entity, including any employee or representative of Norilab.
* Attempting to compromise the security features of Animation Kit or engaging in activities that may harm our services or interfere with the use of our services by other users.

You must not copy, distribute, or use any of the content obtained from Pilo for commercial purposes unless expressly permitted by these Terms. Any attempt to tamper with or bypass our digital rights management technology may be considered a copyright infringement.

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users and third parties on Pilo. While we reserve the right to intervene in disputes, we are not responsible for any liability incurred as a result of such interactions. All user content is used and interactions with other users are made at your own risk.

6. Intellectual Property

Users retain their rights to any content they submit, post, or display on or through Pilo. However, by submitting, posting or displaying content on or through the services, the user grants us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license (with the right to sublicense) to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display, and distribute such content in any and all media or distribution methods (now known or later developed). This license includes the right to use the content for academic research purposes. Users may terminate this license by removing their content or deleting their accounts.

7. Content Moderation

We reserve the right to review all content submitted to Pilo to ensure it is appropriate for our community and follows our guidelines.

8. Termination of Service

Users may terminate their use of our service at any time by deleting their accounts. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate a user's account without notice if the user violates these Terms of Use or is suspected of engaging in illegal activities. Upon cancellation of payment or subscription, please note that your access to Pilo's enhanced features and increased storage capacity will be revoked. Furthermore, any content and work uploaded or created by you during your subscription period will be subject to deletion after a 30-day grace period. We strongly recommend that you back up and save your work before canceling your subscription. After the 30-day grace period, we cannot guarantee the recovery of your deleted content. We are not responsible for any loss of data or materials resulting from the cancellation of your subscription.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms of Use or your use of Pilo will be governed by the laws of Korea and will be settled in Korean courts.

10. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, and our liability for any issues arising from the use of our service is limited.

11. Updates to Terms of Use

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Users will be notified of any significant changes via email or notifications within the service. Continued use of Animation Kit after changes to the Terms of Use have been posted will constitute acceptance of those changes.
